The Driving Range Tee will be over seeded this year versus covering the tee with a tarp. We will be overseeding the tee on Oct. 3rd after the Bluegrass Cup. Once the tee has been seeded, the tee will remain closed for 10-14 days to allow germination and the first mowing of the tee before play will resume. If divots were taken on the tee too soon, all the rye grass plants in that area will be killed and not have the ability to regrow. A rotational schedule for the week to hit off the grass and hit off the mats will be announced and posted as the opening of the over seeded driving range tee nears.
