The Blue Bird population here at Bluegrass has been on the rise for many years. The increase in numbers isn’t just by luck, but by the help of a few select members for almost 5 years. Billy Henry, Paul Waller, and Bob Parker have been adding new Blue Bird Nest Houses, performing routine maintenance throughout the year, and monitoring the populations of Blue Birds since 2006. These gentlemen have also been working with our staff and the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary to create a community outreach program to help support and continue to grow the Blue Bird populations. I would like to thank these guys for there efforts and am pleased to announce we have completed 4 of the 5 certification levels to become an Audubon Sanctuary Golf Course.
